Shinjuku. Shopping and business like atmosphere. It's also a major transportation hub. Not too far from Shinjuku, Yoyogi Park is a garden in the city that's beautiful to walk.
Shibuya. Explore modern culture and the busiest crossing in Japan. Heavy with entertainment, neon lights, and night clubs. Dinner will be at Genki Sushi, Shibuya, where bots run along conveyor belts bringing you your orders.
Ueno. Nature park and a zoo. The National Museum of Nature and Science is full Japanese.
Akihabara is a boys' town. Technology and electronics. Shops sell new and second hand tech items. Filled with Anime and maid cafes. Gaming stores are multiple stories high patronised with people trying to win something.
Tokyo Station. Walk around the modern city of Tokyo. Unlike most cities, the tall buildings have no logos to mark company territories.
Last day in Tokyo. Head to Shinjuku station in the morning for breakfast. Catch the morning bus to Kawaguchiko. The ride is about 3 hours long.
Kawaguchiko. Arrive in the afternoon at Kawaguchiko station. Koe's House is a 5 minute walk away. The rooms are small with common bathrooms, but it's the most convenient place to bunk in for a night, not two.
Walk down to Lake Kawaguchiko for a night view of the town. Shops close early. Tempura Restaurant Ninjya's great for dinner.
Spend a full day in Kawaguchiko. Catch the Mount Fuji view early in the morning before the clouds set in. Mount Fuji Panoramic ropeway is a cable car up to the hill adjacent to Mount Fuji for a closer view.
Grab a bicycle instead of the round trip bus if it's peak season. You can get around Lake Kawaguchiko just fine on two wheels. Kawaguchiko Herb Hall is free to enter. Music Forest is open until sun-down.
Look for a place to settle down and rest. Catch the overnight bus to Osaka. Willer Express has comfortable seats for a good night's sleep. It's equipped with onboard internet and a toilet.
Arrive Osaka Station early in the morning. Get to the Airbnb by ride the train to Nippombashi Station. Walk along the Dotonbori River and find homestay. Check in and rest.
Get some Okonomiyaki for dinner along Dotonbori. Shinsaibashi is a shopping place to walk around after that.
Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan. The aquarium is several stories tall. There are sea animal shows scheduled throughout the day.
Head to Osaka Castle after that. There is an observatory at the top-most deck.
Back to Dotonbori for dinner. Karaoke Pasera Dotonbori has a dessert cafe that serves Honey Toast.
Kuromon Ichiba Market. This morning market is a tourist attractions with tourist prices. Interesting things to look out for include pufferfish, whale meat, sea urchin, etc. Seafood here is extremely fresh and delicious.
Namba Parks. It's a multi-storey park planted on top of a shopping mall. It's just a place to relax. Get some desserts after that.
Den Den Town. Similar to Akihabara. It's a filled with tech and anime. You can walk up to Tennoji where the Tsutenkaku tower is. Experience a mix of culture between the modern and the old.
Head home early for a good rest. The next day is the highlight of the trip - Universal Studios.
Universal Studios Japan. Buy a whole day e-pass from Klook. Queue early at the entrance and don't forget a map. Best to go for the main attractions first, especially Harry Potter land. Try the butterbeer.
Food is expensive inside, so be ready to spend. There are water filters around.
Light and ez. There is opportunity to do last minute shopping and sight-seeing.
Take the train to Kansai International Airport. There are two types that run there - normal and express. Try not to take the wrong one. But if you do, you just have to pay the difference.
